Watering Restrictions – Important Clarification For Residents

We would like to clarify the recent communication regarding Stage 2 Drought Watering Restrictions, which was distributed to Celina properties by default.

Many neighborhoods including Sutton Fields receive water service from Mustang Special Utility District (Mustang SUD). If your property is served by Mustang SUD, your watering must adhere to Mustang SUD’s Stage 2 schedule, not the city’s.

If Mustang SUD is your water provider, you must follow Mustang’s Stage 2 Watering Restrictions and Schedule, not the City of Celina’s.

Mustang SUD Stage 2 Watering Guide (8 PM – 6 AM Only)

• Residential Even Addresses: Sundays
• Residential Odd Addresses: Wednesdays
• HOAs: Fridays
• Commercial Properties: Fridays

Restrictions & Reminders

• No sprinkler or hose-end watering outside designated nights.
• No watering between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM for any customer type, regardless of day.
• Hand-held hoses, drip irrigation, and soaker hoses are permitted at any time.

Please verify your water provider by checking your monthly bill or contacting the provider. If your property is served by Mustang SUD, your irrigation must follow Mustang’s Stage 2 policy, even if your mailing address is Celina.
