Trick-or-Treat Guidelines
Date & Start Time: Thursday October 31, 6:30-9:00 PM
How It Works: Lights On = Candy Ready!
If you’re offering treats, keep your front porch and garage lights on. It’s the universal sign for trick-or-treaters to stop by.
If you’re not participating, simply turn your front lights off.
After Dark Fun! Trick-or-treating after sunset is the most fun, but make sure your kiddos are visible and safe.
Safety Tips for a Spook-tacular Night:
Glow Bright! Equip kids with glow sticks, reflective gear, or flashlights so they're easy to spot after dark.
Stay Close! Parents, join the fun or ensure your kids are in a group with adult supervision. Suspicious activity should be reported to Celina PD or call 911.
Watch Your Step! Remind little ones to use sidewalks or paths and be cautious crossing streets. Look both ways!
For Those New to Trick-or-Treating:
Dress for the Night! Costumes are great, but make sure they’re comfortable and safe for walking.
Respect Homes with Lights Off! Not everyone participates, and that’s okay. Be Kind & Polite! Remember to say "thank you" after getting your candy!
